Information for Langes email and RSS Feed subscribers

Many of our readers do not actually visit our website but get regular updates by email or a RSS Feed reader.

If you are one of our subscribers (over 1200 a day) then we need to tell you that we have transferred our services for supply of these updates to a new provider (from Feedburner to Feedblitz).

If you get this message by email, you will be able to update your preferences by clicking on the link at the bottom of the email.

You can either subscribe to our various emails individually or to one that combines all our feeds so that you get all our latest updates in the same place.

if you do not already subscribe via email, you can get future posts delivered to you via email for free by subscribing here.

If you subscribe to this site via RSS, make sure you update your reader so that it uses the RSS feed at http://www.langes.com.au/?feed=rss2

If you get updates via Twitter, Facebook or on your mobile device there should be no change.

If you are interested in statistics about the website: in the last month according to Google Analytics, in addition to our email and feed subscribers and Twitter followers, our website had 10,201 visits, 7,790 unique visitors and 31,488 pageviews.

In addition nearly 1500 people subscribe to our monthly email newsletter.

If you are interested in the technical reasons behind the move, read here. Basically we will be able to provide you with a better update service. We hope you agree.

If you have any problem getting updates please contact David Jacobson.

Website update

We have added a page in each section of the site which lists all the posts in that section. Just look for the Archived Posts Lists on the right hand side of each page.

The list for Australian Regulatory Compliance Review is currently populating and will appear shortly.

Pages are also now numbered (newest pages first) to help you navigate through the site if you can’t find what you want in our search engine (at the bottom of the left hand navigation bar) or in our Categories list.

Report to my readers

If you’ve come to www.djacobson.com looking for External Insights, don’t go! External Insights is still on this site but no longer on the front page.

That honour now goes to Australian Regulatory Compliance Review (ARCR) which has overtaken External Insights in reader interest. ARCR will still also be accessible at its previous location if you had it bookmarked. The RSS feed will not change.

After 664 posts over 3 years I will be gradually redesigning ARCR (any suggestions from readers will be considered).

In case you’re wondering how I
decide what to write about, here are my basic rules: I do not promote
third party products, take ads or payments and do not talk about
current client matters. I aim to find the original source for regulatory material and do not rely on media reports if I can avoid it.

Most of you are aware of my free monthly
e-newsletter. Hundreds of people every day receive the daily emails of new ARCR items and the RSS feed. (You don’t use these? Subscribe in the right-hand column).

Thank you for reading.
